First part of recordings finished, end phase begun

February 19, 2009

Not much news at the moment aside from what the official site posts, I'm afraid. Hopefully that will change in the coming months as the album gets closer to being finished!

In any case, Rammstein has finished the first part of their recordings for the new album. Mixing is set to begin around the middle of March and will take from six to eight weeks. Apparently the band has consulted orchestra arranger Sven Helbig for the new album as they are considering using strings and choirs (surprise!).
