News: August 2009First video from new album: "Pussy"?
August 17, 2009
The website of Sebastian Soukup Film Architecture – Production Design has updated their filmography with an interesting entry:
RAMMSTEIN «PUSSY» JONAS ÅKERLUND 2009, RSA LONDON / MARKENFILM BERLIN
Whether this means that this will be the first single remains to be seen, but it seems that a video is definitely on its way. As can be seen on that page, Sebastian Soukup worked on Mann gegen Mann as well. The newly restructured official site has already mentioned that a video has been shot. Perhaps this is it?
Richard was interviewed in the latest Metal Hammer podcast, where he mentions "Pussy" (and other topics). Richard's bit starts about 33 minutes in. Thanks to: Oxix, Kruspe_Josh.
More song titles
August 17, 2009
Terrorizer.com has posted a run down of eight of the new tracks. Some of the new information: "Waidmann" is perhaps actually called "Waidmanns Heil" (literally "Huntsman's Salutation", used as a greeting among hunters), "Wiener Blut" seems to be about the Fritzl case from last year (perfect Rammstein song material), and another track title is mentioned: "B******". What does that stand for? Have a listen to the Metal Hammer podcast that was posted earlier today.
The Dutch rock magazine Aardschok has published a new interview with Richard. In it, he is asked if there is any song on the new album that he doesn't like, to which he replies that "Frühling in Paris" (Spring in Paris) isn't really his taste.
With that, I think we have all the song titles but one. Or maybe we know that one already too?

New song titles

The latest issue of Sonic Seducer is running an article on Rammstein that contains some song titles from the upcoming album:
- Rammlied (Ramm-song)
- Pussy
- Wiener Blut (Viennese blood)
- Haifisch (Shark)
- Ich tu' dir weh (I hurt you)
- Waidmann (Huntsman)
- Mehr (More)
Add those to the one we already know (Liebe ist für alle da) and that brings us up to 8 tracks. Only three to go if history repeats itself. US record deal
August 13, 2009
Rammstein have apparently signed to Vagrant Records in the US for their new album, according to several sites. The majority of the recording was done at Sonoma Mountain Studio in California and preproduction was done in Castle Beesenstedt. The album was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hellner in Stockholm.
Lifad.org online

Rammstein is apparently trying to start a viral advertising campaign for "Liebe ist für alle da" and has now switched on Lifad.org. The site definitely belongs to the management. There isn't much there yet — they just ask you to "fallow us at" Facebook and Twitter (looks like spell check let someone down) — but I have a feeling that there is more to come.
