July 31, 2007

On September 17, Apocalyptica will release their new album, Worlds Colide and Till Lindemann of Rammstein will be among the guest singers. He will be taking on David Bowie's song "Heroes", which was also released in German as "Helden". Official response

July 22, 2007

The official site has now posted a reponse as to whether Till is leaving the band:

Since the rumour did alarm people that Till Lindemann would leave Rammstein after the release of the upcoming album, we are pleased to inform you that after consulting Rammstein manager Emanuel Fialik, the so-called news turns out being a fake.

"Neither Till Lindemann nor another band member plans to leave Rammstein. The band is currently working on the next album and is in an excellent mood. As the greed for news is the actual doping in cycling, this 'news' is only serving those who spread the same. Though the world knows now that EnEsch has moved to Berlin, even the poor EnEsch was shocked by the outlook to have to step into Till Lindemanns footsteps. I hope he and the fans of the band will recover soon from this false report."

Of course, none of you really believed the rumor. Right? ;)

Forums down

July 16, 2007

About two weeks ago, I went on vacation. Somewhere between then and now, my web host disabled the forums because they were a little too busy. I am back now and am working on a solution, but the will be down for at least the next few days. Please stand by!

Till leaving the band?

July 16, 2007

Many sites are reporting that Till will leave the band after the next studio album (such as Blabbermouth.net). They claim he is leaving due to problems in the band and would like to start a solo carrier or a new project. En Esch of KMFDM and Slick Idiot fame would replace him. I normally do not report on rumors, but this one seems to be popping up everywhere. To calm the nerves of upset fans: At the moment, there is no proof of this. I think it is safe to assume that if the official site doesn't confirm this within the next few days, it was simply made up. However, if you have any more information on this, please share.

Till leaving the band? Hoax!

July 16, 2007

It has not been confirmed that Rammstein's management actually sent out a press release. It seems all of this may have started on Blabbermouth and everyone is getting their information from them or other sources that also got their information from them. If this were a real press release (which strangely cannot be found on either Pilgrim-management.de or Rammstein.de), you would expect at least one major German news source to have picked up on the news as well. But none have. This seems to be a hoax and in fact, Blabbermouth has now pulled the story.

Update: The management and En Esch have both confirmed that this is untrue!
