Lichtspielhaus cover and release date

October 26, 2003

Rammstein - LichtspielhausThe Lichtspielhaus DVD has now been added to the Releases section along with its cover. More information about it will be added as it becomes available. The release date that I previously heard was November 17. Then I heard December 1. The latest I have heard is November 24, so I think it is a safe bet that the DVD will be in stores between mid November and early December.

You can pre-order it now at Musicnonstop.co.uk. Make sure to be careful with your selection. North America uses the NTSC video format and Europe uses PAL. You must select the correct version for your country or the DVD will most likely not work for you.

Another show from 2002

October 26, 2003

Rammstein's set from the Roskilde Festival '02 is now in the Audio section. It has the same songs as the last show I put up, but the quality seems much better to me. There are parts where you can hear guitar solos and drums very clearly which you normally cannot hear. Have fun!

Recording process for next album set to begin

October 23, 2003

According to what Flake wrote in his latest logbook entry in the Fanarea, the recording process for the new album is set to begin two weeks from today. That puts it at around November 6. They will start by recording Schneider on drums and will then move on to the other members and instruments. As reported before, Jacob Hellner is back again as producer.

Thanks to: Hunter, herzausstein.

New live recording

October 19, 2003

I just added Les Eurockéennes to the Audio section. So far it is the only concert I have from 2002. There are 19 songs, including "Halleluja" and "Stripped", so it is worth checking out! It comes to just under an hour and a half total. Enjoy and contact me if you have any other good shows!

Thanks to: skylift.

Welcome to the new Herzeleid.com

October 15, 2003

I have been working non-stop for the last 2 weeks to bring you the latest incarnation of Herzeleid.com! My main goals in doing so were to create a fresh and new design, to make the site look better at any screen resolution, to clean up my old code (some of which had been around since 1999), and to do all of this while adhering to W3C standards. I test in many browsers (Internet Explorer 4-6 on the PC and 2-4 on the Mac, Netscape 3 and 4 on the PC and 2-4 on the Mac, the latest Mozilla Firebird, Opera 6 and 7 on the PC, and Konqueror on Linux) so there should be no problems!

Aside from looking different, there are many additions and changes.

  • The archived news now goes back to Herzeleid.com's beginning in 1999.
  • This site now offers an XML news feed (RSS 2.0) to help you stay current. This feed may be used on other sites to syndicate this site's news as well. To view it, you will need an RSS reader program. The news is also available in Klip format for users of KlipFolio.
  • The Introduction has been replaced by the Band section.
  • The Concerts section is gone in favor of just Tour Dates, and tour dates for shows all the way back to 1994 have been added (400 in all currently).
  • Lyrics and translations are now side-by-side in the Lyrics section.
  • The lyrics and a translation for Schtiel have been added.
  • Schtiel and Ich hasse Musik have been added to the releases section.
  • The Articles section is now the Press section.
  • The Gallery has been reorganized with many new pictures.
  • The Multimedia section has been broken into Audio and Video.
  • There are several new things in the Audio and Video sections.
  • There is a new and better Java client for the chat.

Feel free to post comments in the forums. Please let me know if you run into any problems (broken links, misspellings, etc.)!

Thanks to: Ed, HAS, e_onfire, Justin, Sean, Brycen, and everyone else for testing and suggestions.
