October 31, 2001

Rammstein posted a notice about the canceled shows, citing "a serious illness in guitarist Paul Landers' family" as the reason.

Flake back home / no more tour in the USA

October 27, 2001

Because Paul left, so did Flake. And since they're gone, Rammstein can't play and I assume they're all going home now. They didn't play at last night's show and there's little chance that they will play again on this tour. Try to get refunds if you can...

Thanks to: Sarah, Pik's Girl, Nicole, Janalyna.

Rammstein responds to the attacks (sort of)

October 26, 2001

There is an article up on Rammstein.com that was written by Arundhati Roy. Rammstein believes it represents their thoughts on the 9/11 attacks, and have gotten permission to post it from the author.

Paul back home

October 26, 2001

Paul was not present at the Detroit show. He seems to have flown home for personal reasons. While only Richard played in Detroit, the System of a Down guitarist is filling in now. No word on if he is coming back or not.

Thanks to: Zach, DerMeister, Pik's Girl.

New Rammstein book

October 18, 2001

Although it was supposed to come out a LONG time ago (around the time Live aus Berlin was released) and was scrapped and brought back over and over, the Rammstein book finally will be published. According to the Fan Area, it will be released at the end of this month and will contain more than 150 pictures. Gert Hof is in on the project, who has worked on their stage show with them before.

More about the new Mutter

October 12, 2001

The new limited tour edition of Mutter will contain the four live tracks and will be released on October 29th as previously reported. The four tracks were recorded on June 1st, 2001 at the Preussag Arena in Hanover, Germany.

As a service to the fans who have already bought the CD (or so I am assuming), the four tracks will be available for download on the official site as MP3s on October 15th to everyone who signs up for the newsletter.

Tracklisting (second CD):

  1. Ich will (3:58)
  2. Links 2 3 4 (4:55)
  3. Sonne (4:43)
  4. Spieluhr (5:28)

Bizarre Festival offline

October 9, 2001

The server is having problems...It will be back up when the server is fixed.

Bizarre Festival 1997 MPEGs online

October 7, 2001

Although I have had them for a while, due to a server problem I couldn't upload these files. They are much better quality than before and shouldn't give anyone problems like the others did. The only problem is that part of Engel is missing. Anyway, check them out.

Limited tour edition of Mutter

October 6, 2001

The new version of Mutter seems to have been confirmed by Motor (or so I am told). It will be a 2-CD digipack with the second CD containing the live tracks "Sonne", "Links", "Ich will", and "Spieluhr". I have seen conflicting dates of when it will be released (Oct. 29th and 22nd), but it is safe to say that it should be out somewhere around the end of the month.

Thanks to: Emilio Perez, Silvia.

Tacoma pictures

October 6, 2001

Three pictures that I took at the Tacoma show are up in the gallery section. The second shows Paul's "hair" and the third shows Hermann (bodyguard) and Tom (band assistant).

Radio Goethe

October 6, 2001

Arndt Peltner from Radio Goethe has an interview and pictures of Rammstein from their San Jose show.

He also has this to say:

I'm looking for College radio stations who would be open for a program like Radio Goethe, meaning a one hour show with just bands from Germany.

If somebody knows of a good College radio station I need the address and if possible a name of the programdirector there. Websites help out a lot as well.

If you can help out, please e-mail him.

New Mutter CD maybe

October 1, 2001

Emp.de is listing a new version of Mutter as coming out on the 29th that will have a extra maxi CD with live tracks on it. This isn't confirmed.

Thanks to: Neil Sandford.
