^[1] This is a play on words that doesn't translate well. "Gute Miene zum bösen Spiel machen" essentially means "to grin and bear it" or "to make a nice face while bad things happen" (literally: "to make a good face for an evil game"). Here, this has been flipped around (evil face, good game).
